How do I make a purchase?

Shopping at Amsterdam Bag Company is very easy: you can see the entire collection here, per category. You can also look at the items here, all items on one page.

  • Once you have found the item you are looking for, simply select the quantity and click on the “add to shopping bag” button underneath each item.
  • Review your items in your shopping bag by clicking the “shopping bag” link at the top of the page. You can change the quantity or delete an item from your shopping bag.
  • Click on “continue shopping” to go back to the shop.
  • Click on “proceed to purchase” to complete your order.
Do I need to set up an account to place an order?

No, you can also shop at Amsterdam Bag Company if you don’t have an account. But if you want to, to make your next time ordering easier you can create an account. To create an account, simply click on “My account” and then “create an account” to fill in your details.

I’ve forgotten my password, what should I do?

When you forgot you password, you can reset your password at the login page. Simply click on the “I forgot my password” button and your password will be send to you.

How do I know if an item is in stock?

All items are in stock unless “sold out” or “pre-order” is displayed. Please be aware that if an item is in your shopping bag, another customer can still buy it until you have completed your order. If an item is in “pre-order” you can still order the item, the delivery time will be displayed on the items detail page.

When pre-ordering an item, you will get priority to other customers once this item is back in stock.

How do I return or exchange an item?

After placing your order, it is not possible to cancel your order. With each order you will receive a returns & exchange form, which must be used to return an item.

Items can be returned within 14 days after receiving the item. An item can only be returned when the A.B.C. tag is still attached to the bag. Items without the A.B.C. tag will not be accepted. The return & exchange form must be filled in completely and be send along with the item.

If you receive an item that is damaged, please contact us by sending an email to info@amsterdambagcompany.com. You can contact us in both English and Dutch. Damaged items can only be returned within 14 days after receiving. Items that are faulty on the long term, for example when a manufacturing fault occurs, must be returned within 3 months. Items that are damaged as a result of normal wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.

If you would like to exchange a faulty item instead of obtaining a refund, please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product in the same color, subject to availability. Where possible, we will offer to repair faulty items. If it cannot be repaired or the same product is not available, you are entitled to a full refund. We recommend that you insure the return shipment as you are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods and will be liable for damage to them until we receive them at our warehouse. In case of dispute, we also recommend you retain proof of sending. Refunds will be issued within 30 days of us receiving your notice.
